I am looking at getting the KeyShot EDU license for a final project I am doing at school but i am wondering if there is a watermark that will get in the way and if it can load SolidWorks educational files.

The Keyshot Educational license doesn’t have any watermarks and can produce full functioning renders. Only issue with the Keyshot Education licenses is that once a KSP/BIP is saved using the educational licensed software, that KSP/BIP can only be opened by an educational licensed Keyshot software (either instructor or student license) and cannot be opened by any of the professional licensed Keyshot licensed software.
This may or may not be an issue in the future, as I can only foresee that you won’t be able to use the KSP/BIP later in your career if you wanted to tweak this final project design for say a portfolio once you no longer have access to the educational license.
At least this was my experience with Keyshot 10, not sure if things have changed since then on KS2023/2024

That is perfect, I just need it for my classwork. I am doing a capstone project and did not want it to be obscured by a watermark.
